American (English) remake of the French series HPI (2021)

Narrative

It follows Morgan, a single mother of three, and how her extraordinary mind helps her solve a crime as she rearranges evidence during her shift as a cleaner at the police station. Despite his very high IQ, excellent memory and deep knowledge of secrecy, Morgan makes a series of basic legal mistakes that anyone who has ever watched a TV legal show would knew he shouldn't have allowed it. In the first episode, for example, he retrieves a document from a locked safe at the alleged victim's law office that would never be admissible in court -- illegally obtained evidence.

It also could not be used to obtain other evidence - a violation of the "fruit of the poisonous tree" legal doctrine. In episode 2, she has to be reminded to put on gloves before handling crime scene evidence, and in #3 she removes all the documented evidence from the police station, completely breaking the chain of inmates and everything she removed is gone too . She is nice and funny

High Potential is a fascinating new show in the crime drama genre. The main character of the series is a strong, independent, highly intelligent and at the same time vulnerable woman who raises three children. The way the series progresses the crime solving is interesting with some great comedic moments.

Caitlin Olsen is fantastic as Morgan

She gives a performance that makes you instantly like her character and want to know more. Judy Reyes and Daniel Suniata are wonderful in their supporting roles. Even the kids act well and add comedy moments to the show.

This is an offbeat fun hour of entertainment
